EQUIPMENT

During your Tour du Mont Blanc you will need to bring just a 30-40 lt. backpack with clothing and other few essential stuff.
As you will have always a place to sleep with blankets you don’t need to bring along with you a sleeping bag, but just a light inlet sheet for overnights in mountain hut (if you don’t have it is possible to buy directly in mountain huts).
Usually a 10 kg backpack is what you should pack to have a reasonable weight and space for clothing.
Read our hiking clothing and equipment list to figure out, and if you can try to do some excursion at home with this kind of luggage, so you can get used to it.
Remember that during the Mont Blanc trekking tour it's possible to wash t-shirts or underwear in the huts and hotels, so you don’t need to bring too much of them! Just bring some soap!
